Meet Mark D. Bucci, DMD in Newport News, Virginia
Dr. Bucci, studied dentistry at the
University of Pittsburgh. Early on he received the prestigious OKU - National Honor Society award. After graduation, he went on to specialize in the latest advances in
prosthodontics and served as chief resident from 2010-2011. (This specialty education provides knowledge and skills beyond the training of general dentists and includes advanced-level courses, clinical and laboratory experience, patient care, and research.)
His Own Practice
Upon completion of his education Dr. Bucci moved back to the Tidewater area and took over Tidewater Prosthodontics from Dr. George Nance, DMD. This was a perfect fit since Dr. Bucci was born and raised in Williamsburg, Va. He has been happily married to his wife Courtney for 12 years. They have a 2 year old son named Luca as well as 2 dogs, Otis and Cappy. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends.
